Pewter bracelet with pueblo bears
This is the most popular pewter bracelet. I did not want the stretchy cord to show between the bear's legs so tried to find turquoise beads that would fit between the legs of the bears. I bought 10 or eleven strands and when I got them home they were great except the bead hole was too small for the stretchy cord. I had to drill out each bead. Not only was it time consuming but about every third bead shattered. Plan number two was to look for different turquoise beads which you see here.
These pewter beads are lead-free. I string them on commercial grade stretchy cord, knot them, put glue on the knot and hide the knot in a bead.
These comfortably fit a 7 1/2" wrist and a little more. I have had customers who wore them 24/7, but I do not recommend it. I would avoid wearing them in the shower.
I have matching earrings for several of the designs (see the "More Earrings" page on this site.
